Raudat-un-Noor | Qur’an Majeed Gold Leafed Inscription

After the wafaat of the 52nd Dai al-Mutlaq Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA — in a heart rending moment, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA held high the Qur’an Majeed from which Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA used to pray and said that, “Still, if someone doubts what I am saying, I am holding this Qur’an and swearing by Allah Ta’ala that I am the successor of the 52nd Dai.” The flag of Haqq, Lahu Dawatul Haqq, had been firmly lodged.

The Qu’ran is light. Syedna Qutbuddin was a shining star of guidance and the divine light of Allah shone in his radiant visage. Today, his Raudat manifests a glimmer of that divine light. In this spirit, and taking inspiration from the Raudat Tahera, the inner walls of the Raudat-un-Noor are inscribed and gold leafed with the exact text from the Qur’an Majeed that Syedna Qutbuddin raised on that momentous day. The Ayat-un-Noor is also engraved as the upper frieze band on the four exterior faces of the Raudat.
